The story revolves around Rudy, an ordinary man who one day discovers he has an extraordinary ability known as the Gift. Unlike typical superpowers, this ability allows Rudy to shift unpredictably between different times and places.

As he navigates this completely new experience, Rudy struggles to understand and control his powers. However, he is not alone; there are four other individuals who possess extraordinary abilities as well. These individuals continuously attempt to capture and eliminate him, making Rudy the target of their pursuit. Now, Rudy must fight for two things: to comprehend his power and to stay alive.

During this difficult time, guidance comes in the form of a mysterious stranger who claims to want to help Rudy. However, the stranger's true intentions remain unfolded till last.. Is he a mentor, or is he just another manipulator?

 The deeper Rudy dives into this hidden world of the Gifted, the more twisted—and         dangerous—everything becomes. His ultimate challenge isn’t just survival, but discovering    who he really is and what he’s capable of.

WHICH MAKES THIS BOOK READABLE👍👏👏


1. As a phycological thriller it create suspense and curiosity about the mysterious gift which is multilayered apart from typical superpower.

2. With cinematic takes and turn it gives the vibes of sci-fi book

3.  You're constantly guessing who's real, who's trustworthy, and what’s actually happening.       The villains aren’t just bad—they’re smart, driven, and scarily believable.

 4. The climax ties together the chaos with emotional and narrative payoff. which makes the       story different


WHAT CRITIQUE SAYS💬💬

As it is a strong story with twist and turn it has also some weak points as per critique such as,

1. The time shifts sometimes feels so confusing.

2. Some secondary characters deserved more development.

3. A few plot twists might stretch believability, especially for readers grounded in realism.

4. Exposition around “the Gift” could have been a bit tighter.

FROM MY LENS👀👀

I would like to discuss my experience with this book in two points.

Firstly, in terms of character development, I believe it could be more thorough and sharp.

Secondly, I found the storyline quite engaging. As a psychological thriller, it captures the reader's attention and creates a sense of urgency—if you blink, you feel like you might miss something. This story fits that description perfectly.

Additionally, there are some quotes that give chills, which adds to the overall impact of the book.

“The Gift doesn’t make you powerful. It shows you how little control you really have.”

“Sometimes the trap isn’t built around you. It’s built inside you.”

“Reality is only as stable as your memory of it.”

“Everyone wants the truth—until it ruins the lie they’re living.”
