The story of Alchemist revolves around a young Andalusian shepherd named Santiago.
 who dreams of finding a treasure near the Egyptian pyramids. Encouraged by a mysterious king named Melchizedek, Santiago sells his sheep and embarks on a journey to pursue his life's true purpose. Along the way, he faces challenges such as being robbed and working for a crystal merchant to earn money. He joins a desert caravan, falls in love with a woman named Fatima,

His life takes a turn when he meets a wise alchemist who teaches him about listening to his heart and the spiritual unity called the "Soul of the World." Santiago learns to interpret omens and ultimately discovers that the true treasure was located nowhere else but within him. finally he understood that self discovery is the one he was searching for.

WHAT MAKES THIS BOOK READABLE👏👏👏


The Alchemist takes you to a journey of self discovery and fulfillment there are certain things which makes this book readable such as,

Firstly it teach us a life lesson that no matter how many setbacks come in way we should pursue are dream and trust the journey.

secondly, writer uses clear, poetic language that is easy to read but deeply meaningful. Each sentence feels like a quote, packed with wisdom without sounding preachy.

The book explores faith, destiny, and the idea of a higher power guiding us.

WHAT CRITIQUE SAYS👤👤👤

 The Alchemist is highly inspirational book however critique found some imbalance between gender roles in the book . such as character of Fatima depict as a supporter of Santiago rather than with her own dreams.

Additionally, some readers find the book’s inspirational message to be selfish, suggesting it encourages the pursuit of personal goals at the expense of responsibility to others, which may not resonate with everyone’s values or life experiences.


FROM MY LENS👀👀


This book is one of my favourite book from inspirational genre although whole book is absolute there are some hook point which attract me a lot such as,

  • Trust the journey, even if the path is uncertain.

  • When you truly want something, the universe helps you.

  •  Every experience—painful or joyful—teaches a lesson.

  • True love doesn’t hold you back—it helps you grow.

There are some quotes which i would like to share with you all,

“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.” 

“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”

If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure of your purpose, The Alchemist is like a gentle whisper in your ear telling you to believe, to pursue, and to trust the journey. It's a novel, a philosophy, and a life lesson all wrapped into one.I bet it's a must read for dreamers of all age.
